Milender White was awarded a National Excellence in Construction Eagle Award from the
Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) at the national organization’s 26th annual Excellence
in Construction Awards celebration on March 2 in Florida. Milender White was recognized for
the Lenoir Landing Tower project, which was completed in June 2015, in the Other Construction
– Less than $2 million project category.
The Lenoir Landing Tower is a 149-ft guyed, scientific data collection tower and an adjacent
instrument hut deep within the Choctaw National Wildlife Refuge in Alabama. This site is part
of a North American program to gather ecological data over a 30-year period.
The Excellence in Construction Awards program is the industry’s leading competition,
developed to honor innovative and high-quality merit shop construction projects, with eagle
awards presented to the top project in each category. Congratulations again for the great work!
