Milender White (MW) partnered with Foothills Regional Housing (formerly Jefferson County Housing Authority) and Van Meter Williams Pollack to build Avi at Olde Town, a 100-unit development providing high-quality affordable and supportiveĀ living. MW prefabricated wall and floor panels for the development, which resulted in increased safety and onsite efficiency.
This urban infill project replaced a smaller existing apartment complex and included 72 one-bedroom and 28 two-bedroom apartments with 5% of the units designated as Type A accessible. Avi at Olde Town features indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, a leasing office, and onsite parking. The community also features a job training center for teens who are aging out of the foster care system.
The project was supported by Foothills Regional Housing, Urban Ventures LLC and 4% Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTCs) provided by the State of Colorado. It is located within walking distance to the Olde Town Arvada commuter rail station and retail shops and cafes. The building features several exciting gathering spaces along an urban park, a two-story bridge and a second-story outdoor deck.
