MW helped support the development of a new parking lot for the Colorado School of Mines. Civil project work involved excavation, paving, installation of lighting, security systems, curbing and guttering. The project consisted of re-grading, paving and striping the 3.8 acre Ford and 19th Street Parking Lot on the Colorado School of Mines campus while the Shipping and Receiving Building remained operational throughout the construction phase.
The MW team ensured that intersection signaling was correctly installed and that underground drainage met requirements. The Project required close supervision and coordination since it was built up to the existing property lines. Milender White took great effort in the design and layout of segmental retaining walls to ensure their proper placement while maximizing the parking count.
