Project Summary

Crossing Pointe North is a 74,983 sq. ft., four-story, wood-framed Type V-A apartment building over a one-level S-2 parking garage. The 64-unit affordable housing community for seniors is part of the Crossroads Station transit-oriented development area at 104th and Colorado. The project funders included Unison Housing Partners, the City of Thornton, Adams County, the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority, Wells Fargo, and the Colorado Department of Local Affairs.

The building complies with 2015 International Energy Conservation Code, Section C407: Total Building Performance. Energy modeling for this code predicts 19.0% annual energy cost savings over the 2015 IECC Standard Reference Design.
