S*Park is a highly sustainable, mixed-use development on a 2.8-acre site at the edge of Denver’s RiNo district.
The community features 91 condominium units, 8 townhomes and commercial space totaling 190,804 sq. ft. and underground structured parking with 139 spaces, a greenhouse and more than 50,000 sq. ft. of open space. The project includes 14 for-sale townhomes that are affordable for buyers earning 80% AMI. With a below-grade garage, the site includes 20,000 sq. ft. of private parking.
MW employed many sustainable strategies in this project, including: brick and concrete reuse, soil and erosion control, rainwater conveyance, auto charging stations, a garden wall and permeable parking. S*Park is designed to provide residents with easy access to the downtown Denver area, with an RTD station right in front of the project and an on-site BCycle station.
As a sustainable project, S*Park’s design includes the finest of green features: hypoallergenic grasses, solar power, composting, stormwater irrigation, and a 7,200 sq. ft. rooftop greenhouse, one of the most elevated aeroponic farms in the country.
Prefabrication: The Milender White prefabrication facility delivered 164,393 square feet of wall panels for this project.
